Panel Lifter

Grainger’s raised floor lifting tool provides an easy way for installers to remove raised flooring panels. The two suction cups at each end of the lifter create a suction on the top of the panel and left with the handle. Making any removal of panels, for installation or maintenance of a project effortless. The lifter helps to prevent damage to the panel or any other remaining panels.

Our high-performance Neoprene Foam Tape is engineered for raised access flooring systems, providing effective cushioning, vibration control, and a secure, long-lasting bond. Manufactured from PVC and nitrile closed-cell foam, it forms an airtight seal between perimeter walls and floor panels, reducing air loss, minimising condensation, and protecting surrounding surfaces.

Fixing Screws

Grainger’s offers a variety of quality fixing screws and nails designed to be used in conjunction with our comprehensive pedestal range.

Panel Screws – M6 x 45mm

Countersunk screw designed to lay flush with the panel surface complete with a Pozidriv head for added torque and less possibility of cam-out. Supplied zinc plated as standard for added resistance to oxidation.

Nailins – M6 x 40mm

Pre-assembled impact nail anchor used for quick and easy mechanical fixing of a pedestal base to the substrate.

Stringer Screw – M4 x 15mm

Countersunk screw designed to lay flush with the stringer surface complete with a Pozidriv head for added torque and reduced possibility of cam-out.

Available in Yellow & Red

Grainger’s coloured sealers are premium, highly pigmented water-based PVA floor sealers designed to prepare and protect subfloors for raised access flooring systems. Available in red (XP2640) and yellow (XP2641), both formulations provide excellent dust control, laitance binding, and long-lasting surface stability while remaining suitable for enclosed working environments.

  • Water-based Polyvinyl Acetate formulation
  • Viscosity: 3500 to 4500 cP at 20°C
  • Solvent: water
  • Non-volatile content: 38 to 42%
  • Non-flammable
  • Service temperature: -20°C to 70°C
  • Resistant to water, detergents, dilute acids and alkalis, and oils
  • pH: 7 to 8
  • Coverage: approximately 8m² per litre undiluted, or up to 40m² per litre diluted depending on the substrate
  • Dilution and cleaning solvent: water

Apply evenly by brush, spreader, or roller, avoiding puddling. For deeper colour, apply a second diluted coat once the first is dry, then allow the coated area to dry thoroughly before further work.

Ped Fix 1 Pedestal Adhesive

Grainger’s Ped Fix 1 is a one-component, ultra-low VOC, solvent-free polyurethane system specially formulated for fixing pedestals used in access flooring. When cured, it provides strong, long-lasting adhesion to concrete and other surfaces commonly found in raised access flooring environments.

  • One component, no mixing required
  • Ultra-low VOC
  • Solvent free
  • Polyurethane system
  • Can be spread with a knife or spatula, applied with a squeegee, or used by dipping the pedestal directly into the adhesive

Designed with installer efficiency in mind, Ped Fix 1 offers a practical and reliable fixing solution without compromising on performance.

Threadlock is a sturdy adhesive designed to secure threaded fasteners such as nuts, bolts, and screws, preventing them from loosening over time. In raised access flooring, it is applied to nuts once pedestals have been adjusted to the required height, adding an extra layer of strength and security to the installation.

Once fully cured, Threadlock also helps prevent leakage and protects threads from corrosion. Supplied in a user-friendly squeeze bottle, it allows for precise, controlled application on site.

  • Resistant to water, acids, alkalis, and oils

Stringers

Our pedestal stringers are designed to meet the demanding performance and load requirements of the access flooring industry. They are used where additional lateral stability is required or where floor heights exceed 500mm, improving overall rigidity without affecting the load-bearing performance of the access floor.

Heavy-duty stringer: 2.0mm thick U-channel mild steel stringer with galvanised finish, featuring a hook-on location suitable for loose lay or screw-down installations. Also available in a 25mm wide option.

Medium-duty stringer: 1.5mm thick U-channel mild steel stringer with galvanised finish, featuring a hook-on location suitable for loose lay or screw-down installations. Also available in a 25mm wide option.

Box stringers are manufactured to customer-specific requirements and are available in 25mm x 25mm x 3mm sections.

Bespoke sectional steels can also be produced to suit specific project requirements.

Certified to BS EN 13264:2001 (Extra-Heavy Grade), the Series CFLG-C computer room floor grilles are engineered to suit many raised access flooring systems commonly installed in server rooms, data centres, and other critical environments.

Developed through extensive research and testing, these floor grilles deliver exceptional strength and durability while maintaining a slim, lightweight design. They weigh just over 11kg and feature an overall depth of only 60mm with a minimum tile depth of 30mm. Available with or without spacing pips.

The standard size is 599mm x 599mm, with alternative sizes available on request to suit specific project requirements. Manufactured to order, which may result in a short lead time.
